Living Hope Christian Church
LEADERSHIP
The leadership of Living Hope.
Pastor John - John Thompson was brought up in the Loyalist heartland of Northern Ireland. The Shankill Road in West Belfast. In his early teens he turned his back on the cycle of violence which many of his friends were involved with and gave his life to Jesus Christ.

John soon found out that what many others have found to be true throughout the years, that to accept Christ in youth is not only to have ones soul saved but life saved as well.

John started to attend the Whitewell Metropolitan Tabernacle in Belfast and sat under the inspired ministry of Pastor James McConnell.

Stuart Elliott - Many in the UK will know Stuart Elliott as a footballer who plys his trade with Championship club Doncaster Rovers and Northern Ireland. However, at Living Hope, Stuart is more known for his preaching abilities and his zeal for the Lord's work.

Stuart came to the Lord at the age of 17 at the Whitewell church in Belfast. His football career has seen him move to Motherwell and now to Hull. Stuart was recently unanimously voted onto the eldership here at Living Hope Church

Terry Barker - Terry spent his childhood under the ministry of Pastor Stan Sellars at the Coltman Street Mission where he accepted Christ as his Lord and Saviour at the age of 7. He thanks God for his parents' spiritual influence in his life; in the same way that Hannah gave Samuel over to the Lord Terry felt his parents kept him in the Lord's presence. Terry is the treasurer and teaches in the Sunday School. "The Lord has done so much for me and I just want to serve the Lord in any way I am able".
